Virtual Psych(o)Cave

Project Overview

Virtual Psych(o)Cave connects EEG input with generative VR visuals, transforming participant signals into spatial artifacts that feel personal rather than purely analytical.

The installation treats data as material: something that can become texture, object, mood and collective memory.

Participants move through a process where their emotional and creative signals influence what is generated, then see those creations join a larger shared system.

See It In Action

Development Process

The experience combines headset interaction, EEG data mapping, procedural generation and shader-driven visual states.

One application guides the participant through creation, while a second visualizes the generated pieces and lets them interact dynamically based on their empathy scores.

The result is both a personal interaction and a collective archive of generated forms.

Key Features

  • EEG-driven visual generation
  • Procedural object creation
  • Custom emotional textures
  • Empathy-score based visualization
  • Two-application installation format

Results & Impact

The project expands the studio's experimental work around neurofeedback, art and immersive media, showing how biometric data can become expressive spatial content.
